RACE INFO
Facing the Atlantic
Boat: Patience.
James Cash, Bertie Portal.
UK.
Two-man-team, Facing The Atlantic combines youth with experience. James is a personal trainer, whose hobbies include running triathlons, marathons and cycling. Bertie is an actor, more at home on film sets than in the unforgiving Atlantic Ocean.
Bertie´s close friend who recently died, Martin Kelley, was founder of charity Facing The World. It provides surgery to children facial disfigurements, particularly those whose situations and backgrounds would otherwise make these treatments unavailable. The pair is rowing for Facing The World.
