H2Row is the only Scottish-based team in this year´s competition. Eight months ago John posted a message on Facebook to find a replacement rower and low and behold he found Barnaby. They have become fast friends and look forward to their journey across the Atlantic. John is an experienced university rower, having been awarded his university´ oarsman of the year in year 2005 and 2007 as well as a Blue in 2010. Barnaby started rowing sixteen years ago and currently rows in Edinburgh.
