Happy New Year.

After many texts Oarsome Buoys eventually managed to speak to their family.  News is that they had a great Christmas and are still enjoying the edible presents.  They have settled in to their routine and even found time to swim with dolphins, and give the hull a quick clean.  Definitely a unique way to spend the Christmas and New Year holidays.

As well as Oarsome Buoys, the Yorkshire Rows wish all their friends and family and supporters a great New Year.  They hope to inspire others by showing that if four working mums can row an ocean, with determination and hard work anyone can achieve anything.  So their advice to all is “When you are making your New Year’s resolution or setting your goals for 2016 – You had better make them big!”

Team Beyond, have spent the last days of 2015 in style surfing the great waves of the Atlantic Ocean. “It’s an incredibly intense moment when the surf all around the boat froths up as it crests lifting up Hope, before sending her screaming into the ocean 25 feet below.” They want to hear everyone’s New Year’s resolutions. Click here to find out theirs.

Square One, haven’t had the most festive of holiday breaks. Unfortunately they have not been able to use their iPod to watch videos or listen to music.   And unlike the other boats they have not seen much in the way of wildlife. So please show them your support by clicking here and wishing them a speedy, safe and happier crossing for the remainder of their ocean journey.

We wish all the teams a Happy New Year/ Feliz Año Nuevo and look forward to seeing them in Antigua in 2016.

Happy New Year.
