Weather update:-  Winds 13-18 knots from NE, ENE and some E until at least 14 Jan.

As we move into 2016 we have some more best wishes messages from our ocean rowers.

Atlantic Castaways posted “Happy New Year from 20° 13.19 N, 029° 3.43 W” The were also on air this morning. @duncanonair, @BBCCornwall.   For more news from them click here.

Matteo from Sogno Atlantico shared his oceanic calendar which is a great summary of his time spent on the sea.

From Atlantic Drifters, a New Year message for Tom and Dave wishing their family, friends and supporters a Happy and Healthy 2016. Despite a few problems on board which slowed down their progress they are in high spirits. They managed to take a moment to toast the New Year send out a message to the world…. Click here to read their story.

Back to business of rowing or maybe not for Callum from Persil Waterbabies who was unable to row all morning as his auto helm came off leaving a hole in the deck. To find out what happened click here.

Greg Maud, from Sea Rover appears to have a hidden talent (or… a professional photographer smuggled on board)?   Click here to wish Greg well and also to see what one man and a #GoPro can do.

But for Coventry50 it’s just “Row, eat, sleep, row, eat, sleep and repeat….Polly is still with them tho!”

Some of you will have already seen the ATLANTIC CAMPAIGNS ANNOUNCEMENT regarding the US team Latitude 35.   Thirteen days into the event the rowers had to adjust their strategy as two team members left the race. Tom and Jason, still on board American Spirit, are embracing the challenge and continuing their route to Antigua.

Moving from a close knit team of four to a pair is a difficult and brave decision to make, please follow their story and show your support.
