Lauren Morton is the epitome of the modern adventurer: after skippering the youngest all-female team to row any ocean in the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge 2015, Lauren is already committed to her next undertaking – a journey underwater to conquer the three longest lakes in Britain. In this inspirational film, Lauren reflects on her motivation to keep pushing into the unknown.

“The thing about the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge is that afterwards life just isn’t the same – you can never sit still, the next adventure is always gnawing away at you”, says Lauren. Training for her next challenge in the stunning scenery of Loch Awe in Scotland, she reflects on how her gripping journey from La Gomera to Antigua changed her perspective on life, her future goals and her relationship with the water. In her own words, “there is a transformative power about adventure and being in the elements”.

Leading the Fours team of ‘Row Like Girl, Lauren crossed the Atlantic in  40 days, 8 hours and 26 minutes as part of the 2015 race.
