The Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge is run by some of the most experienced ocean adventure professionals in the world:

 

CEO and Race Director – Carsten Heron Olsen has been involved in ocean rowing since 2009, and now leads Atlantic Campaigns with his Danish attention to detail and problem solving attitude to business.

 

Event Coordinator – Nikki Holter is based the UK and the first point of contact for all budding ocean rowers. Nikki is on hand throughout the campaign from sign up, right through to casting off the bow lines.

 

Head Scruitineer and Duty Officer – Ian Couch is ensuring our race rules and safety procedures are the best they have ever been. Ian also looks after the fleet whilst they are on the water.

 

Virtual Assistant – Mette Fagerlind is making sure all the details are in place and that everyone is where they should be, when they should be!

 

Medical team leader – Thor Munch-Andersen is an expedition loving, very experienced orthopaedic surgeon who is the first port of call if any of the fleet have any medical issues.
